Our philosophy and work system is based on what we call in-situ de-contamination (on site). This means treating any type of contamination as close to the source as possible.

 

At Crescent Mexicana we understand that:

 

  • In the vast majority of cases it is possible, and highly beneficial, to treat pollutants in the same place or very close to where they are generated.

 

  • Our goal is to design the equipment, systems, products and processes that allow treating different types of environmental pollution as close to the source as possible, avoiding risks, minimizing environmental impact and high transportation costs.

 

  • The closer to the source and the faster action is taken, the more limited the damage, the lower the risks, and the costs involved.

 

Our proposal is based on the injection of our patented product, directly into the drain pipe of the kitchen sinks. Due to its electrical affinity, the product will associate with the fats in the turbulent flow of the discharge, almost instantaneously generating a harmless solution (colloidal suspension) where the fats are in such a fine dispersion that they behave like a liquid.

 

The process is completely automatic and does not require any supervision or action from the client. These devices are installed somewhere in the kitchen and connected by a 5mm PVC tubing under the sinks.

 

The visible effect is that the level of floating grease in the trap is reduced to a minimum and the walls are kept clean. the product also keeps the building pipes clean. It may be that in some cases early in the process, if the pipes are internally covered with grease, grease blocks with the shape of the pipe will loose free.

 

These blocks can cause partial plugging in certain pipe restrictions, but it is a normal part of the cleaning process and since they do not adhere, they are very easy to remove. Once the pipes are clean, clogging will no longer occur because the product keeps the internal walls of the pipes lubricated.

On the page of problems they generate, we have shown the harmful effects of fats in all stages until their return to the environment. Currently, the problem is attacked in all cases during the primary treatment: the separation and removal of the fats to later be transported to the final destination, usually as a landfill. The removal and disposal of fats is an expensive and risky activity. On the other hand, the company that generates the waste delivers it to another and no longer knows if it is disposed of correctly.

 

The cleaning and removal costs caused by greases in treatment plants, in pumping stations and in pipelines are absorbed by the municipalities, that is, by society as a whole.

 

Crescent Mexicana has environmentally-friendly technologies that allow fats to be eliminated precisely in the place where they are generated: dishwashing sinks in industrial kitchens, process tanks in slaughter plants, etc. By breaking down fats and oils in kitchens and converting them into fluids that behave like water, we avoid, at minimal cost, all the problems that appear downstream.

 

By degrading the fats and oils so that they come out of the traps as a colloidal solution (where they cannot re-agglutinate) we generate a double benefit, the restaurant does not have overflow problems, it does not have bad odors, it does not have aseptic conditions and it has no problems. of blockages in internal pipes, at the same time greatly reducing the economic burden for cities and damage to the environment.

The photographic sequence below shows the exit of a pipe towards an external collecting interceptor, the first two photos were attempted to be taken with an endoscopic camera but, due to the fat, it was not possible to enter the pipe with it. The last 2 were taken directly from the outside.

 

In the third photograph you can see how the fat flows in a semi-liquid state. In the last photograph you can see the clean walls and the inside of the pipe already free of grease. There was no mechanical action, nor was fat removed from the site.

 

The fat already inside a colloidal solution is nanometer-sized and is easily engulfed by bacteria existing in the water, disappearing from the environment.
